TWENTY-SEVENTH PUBLIC SALE OF

RARE COINS

To Be Sold By Mail Auction
to the Highest Bidder Without Reserve
Thursday, February 24, 1927, by

M. H. BOLENDER

P. O. Box 34

Orangeville, Illinois

To Collectors:- — In this sale I offer the collec-
tions and consignments of more than a dozen in-
dividuals. The result is a great variety of ma-
terial. The advanced collector or specialist will
find some desirable items if he looks carefully.
However, in my Classifications I have not forgot-
ten the beginner and amateur collectors and they
will also find some splendid lots.

Please forward your bids promptly as there
is little time left before the sale. First bids re-
ceived also have preference in case of a tie.

After you read the following terms you will
discover four good reasons why you ought to make
your bids liberal.

My classifications and descriptions are based
on knowledge gained through 15 years of earnest
dealing in coins. I have endeavored to refrain
from over-rating the quality of a lot, which is so
common. I believe that the word “RARE” should
not be over-worked.

Please remember my strong guarantee. If
goods are not satisfactory (you are to be the
judge), you are at liberty to return them without
any danger of offending.

No commission charged for faithfully execut-
ing your bids.

New bidders should send references or a de-
posit of at least 25 per cent of bids.

Coins will be bought as much below your bids
as possible as this is competitive bidding carried
out in good faith.

If you do not know how much to bid on any
item, write me and I shall be glad to inform you
as to its value.

Receipted bills are not sent out after your
remittance as this is unnecessary. Your check,
draft, or money order itself is a receipt and we
ask you to pay only once. However, if a 2-cent
stamp is enclosed we will send receipt.

Some new unsolicited testimonials recently re-
ceived:

‘ ‘ These are the first coins I bought from you
and I hope they won’t be the last, for I am very
much pleased.”

“I am very much pleased with the condition
of the Griqua Town coin and also at less than half
of my bid.”

“Thanks for getting No. 181 at about half of
my bid. ’ ’

“The coins I got from your sale are very satis-
factory. I’m only sorry that I didn’t let you get
all those quarters for me.”

“I like your fairness and straightforward
methods. ’ ’

“In my thirty years experience you are the
first dealer who acknowledged you had made a
mistake and returned me postage on anything that

I had sent back. You certainly live up to your
guarantee. ’ ’

“1 wish to thank you for noticing my mistake
in bidding and for investigating same. ’ ’

‘ ‘ Sorry I didn ’t get more. ’ ’

Let me sell your collection or duplicates in
these sales. Quick returns and satisfactory re-
sults are realized. My sales are held regularly
each month. Write for terms.

Please bid by the piece unless stated to bid
for the lot.
